Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must hold a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential or an equivalent certification such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). Minimum five years of progressive safety management experience in high‑risk industries—including manufacturing, construction, transportation, or energy—is required. Proven success leading remote or distributed safety teams, conducting web‑based training sessions, and utilizing safety management platforms like Sphera, Intelex, or perSTAR is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and a track record of reducing recordable incident rates by double‑digit percentages are critical. Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation, as well as familiarity with changing safety regulations and compliance audits, will enable you to keep the organization ahead of industry standards.
