About the Role

As a fully remote Safety Manager, you will own the end-to-end safety strategy for a growing organization that operates across multiple states and work models. Rather than policing teams, you’ll partner with operations, HR, and project leads to embed safety into daily decisions, tools, and communication rhythms.

Your work will span risk assessments, training delivery, compliance tracking, and data-driven incident analysis. You’ll standardize best practices for remote field work, travel, equipment use, and emergency response so that every employee—wherever they log in—knows exactly how to stay safe. By translating regulations into clear workflows, you’ll reduce claims, lower insurance costs, and protect both people and margins.

How You’ll Create Impact Remotely

You will lead virtual safety audits, develop digital inspection workflows, and facilitate live and on-demand training that meets adult learning standards. You’ll analyze incident trends to prioritize fixes that remove root causes rather than symptoms. Collaboration happens through video, shared dashboards, and concise documentation, ensuring alignment with leadership, site managers, and external partners. When regulations evolve, you’ll interpret changes quickly and update programs before deadlines arrive.

Requirements

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of safety leadership in construction, manufacturing, logistics, or field services; remote or multi-site experience strongly preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or OSHA 30-Hour Outreach; additional certifications a plus.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, incident investigation methods, and hazard assessment tools.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging safety training virtually and measure learning retention.
• Strong data skills: you can turn incident reports, near-miss logs, and audit results into prioritized action plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to frontline workers and executives alike.
• Tech fluency with safety management software, video conferencing, and cloud documentation platforms.

Salary Range
