About the Role
Northstar Safety Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across multiple project sites, field teams, and operational departments. Salary Range
Estimated Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 USD per year

Key Responsibilities
Develop and Manage Safety Programs
Create, update, and maintain safety policies, procedures, training materials, and compliance documentation aligned with OSHA standards, company goals, and industry best practices.
Lead Compliance and Risk Management
Monitor safety performance, identify potential hazards, review audit findings, and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk across field operations and remote teams.
Support Incident Investigations
Review workplace incidents, near misses, and safety trends. Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans that prevent recurrence and improve long-term safety outcomes.
Train and Coach Teams
Deliver virtual safety training, toolbox talks, onboarding sessions, and compliance refreshers for employees, supervisors, contractors, and leadership teams.
Improve Safety Culture

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in safety management, EHS coordination, compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, incident reporting, and safety training practices.
- Experience working with remote teams, multi-site operations, contractors, or field-based employees is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain safety requirements clearly and professionally.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review safety data, identify trends, and recommend practical solutions.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, safety management software, video conferencing tools, and document management platforms.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities without direct daily supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or similar safety training credential.
- ASP, CSP, CHST, or comparable professional safety certification.
