About the Role

As a 100% remote Safety Manager, you will architect and operationalize safety systems that travel with our people, not anchor them to a desk. From incident prevention and regulatory readiness to behavior-based coaching and emergency readiness, you will design scalable frameworks that fit fast-moving workflows and distributed teams. We operate across multiple industries and jurisdictions, so you’ll interpret standards, localize controls, and deploy training that sticks—no matter where teammates log in from.

Core Responsibilities

You will build and maintain a living safety management system that evolves with our projects, tools, and risks. Conduct virtual risk assessments, develop job safety analyses, and lead incident investigations with rigor and empathy to uncover root causes, not just symptoms. Create and deliver engaging remote training modules, toolbox talks, and micro-learning campaigns that reinforce safe behaviors and close knowledge gaps. Monitor leading indicators, analyze trends, and translate findings into clear action plans that reduce frequency and severity of incidents over time.

Collaborate with operations, HR, and IT to embed safety into workflows, tools, and onboarding so protection is automatic, not optional. Manage documentation, permits, audits, and regulatory correspondence with precision, ensuring we remain inspection-ready without bureaucracy overload. Coach leaders and teams on hazard recognition, ergonomics, psychological safety, and emergency response, fostering a speak-up culture where concerns become solutions quickly.

Requirements

Experience and Expertise

You bring proven success managing safety in complex, dispersed environments, with a track record of lowering incident rates and strengthening compliance. Deep knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and applicable local regulations is essential, along with experience adapting standards to virtual and hybrid work realities. You are skilled in incident investigation methodologies, data analysis, and behavior-based safety principles, and you can turn insights into practical improvements that teams actually adopt.

Exceptional communication is non-negotiable: you can facilitate difficult conversations, write clear policies, and deliver compelling remote training that holds attention. Qualifications
