About the Role

As our Remote Safety Manager, you will design, implement, and continuously improve safety programs that protect employees, contractors, and visitors across all remote sites. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional leaders, conduct virtual audits, and leverage data analytics to reduce incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) tailored for a fully remote workforce.
• Conduct virtual site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations using video, drones, and digital reporting tools.
• Create engaging e‑learning safety modules, webinars, and micro‑learning content for employees worldwide.
• Track and analyze safety metrics; produce monthly dashboards for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations; prepare for audits and certifications.
• Lead a small, remote safety team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency response planning and business continuity for remote locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive safety experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CSM, or OSHA 30‑hour preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing safety programs for remote or distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and applicable state regulations.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives via video conference.
• Proficiency with safety software (e.g., iAuditor, Enablon, SafetyCulture) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Self‑starter with high accountability, able to prioritize tasks without direct onsite supervision.
