  • Coordinate emergency response planning and conduct tabletop exercises for distributed locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture through recognition programs, safety committees, and continuous feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive safety management experience, with at least 3 years in a multi‑site or remote‑work environment.

  • Proven track record of reducing TRIR and DART rates by ≥20 % over a 3‑year period.
  • Expertise with safety management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Gensuite) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exceptional virtual communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high‑hazard industries such as manufacturing, construction, energy, or logistics.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 implementation and auditing.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for diverse workforce engagement.

Salary Range

$115,000 – $145,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and geographic differentials. This range reflects current market data for senior remote safety leaders in the United States.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans (employee + family).
  • 401(k) with 5 % company match and immediate vesting.
  • Unlimited PTO plus 12 paid holidays and a dedicated “Wellness Week” each quarter.
  • Professional development budget ($3,000/year) for conferences, certifications, and courses.
  • Employee assistance program, mental‑health resources, and virtual fitness classes.
