About the Role

As a Remote Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical, you will conduct virtual assessments, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. You will utilize secure video conferencing and electronic health record systems to monitor patient progress, educate patients and families on postoperative recovery, medication management, and wound care, and intervene promptly when clinical changes arise. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive virtual health assessments for medical/surgical patients.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in good standing (multi‑state licensure preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and EHR systems.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make sound nursing judgments autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for virtual patient engagement.

• BSN preferred; ADN considered with equivalent experience.

Salary Range

Based on industry standards for remote medical/surgical nursing roles, the estimated annual compensation for this position is $62,000 – $85,000 USD. Actual salary will be commensurate with licensure, experience, and geographic differentials where applicable.
