About the Role

As a Remote ICU Registered Nurse, you will be the eyes and ears of our partner hospitals, monitoring critically ill patients through real‑time video, telemetry, and electronic health records. You’ll interpret vital signs, adjust treatment plans, and provide evidence‑based recommendations to bedside teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor multiple ICU patients via tele‑ICU platform, responding to alarms and trends within defined timeframes.
• Conduct virtual assessments, interpret labs, imaging, and hemodynamic data, and communicate findings to bedside nurses and physicians.
• Initiate evidence‑based interventions such as ventilator adjustments, medication titrations, and fluid management under physician guidance.
• Document all interventions, assessments, and communications in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, providing critical‑care expertise and education to bedside staff.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ICU protocols, emerging technologies, and best practices through continuous education.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the United States (RN) – must be eligible to practice in the state where you reside.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (medical, surgical, cardiac, or neuro‑ICU).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced virtual environment.
• Reliable high‑speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download/upload) and a dedicated, private workspace.
