Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight & Monitoring

• Remotely monitor ICU patient vitals and telemetry data to identify early signs of clinical deterioration.
• Provide expert clinical consultation to bedside staff regarding ventilator management, titration of vasoactive drips, and complex hemodynamic stability.
• Conduct virtual patient assessments and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care plans.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain meticulous digital documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards.
• Audit remote patient data to ensure adherence to evidence-based ICU protocols.
• Participate in virtual multidisciplinary rounds to provide specialized critical care insights.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS certifications.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of direct bedside experience in a Level I or Level II Intensive Care Unit.
• Proven expertise in managing critically ill patients, including experience with ventilators, CRRT, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and a comfort level with adopting new telehealth software.
