Requirements

Education and Certification

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, completed an accredited radiology residency program, and hold valid medical licensure in the United States. Board certification in radiology is required, with subspecialty certifications considered a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in PACS systems, advanced diagnostic imaging software, and telemedicine platforms is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams are critical for success in this remote role.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology is required. Experience with teleradiology and previous remote work arrangements is highly desirable. Specialization areas such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, or body imaging will be considered favorably.
