About the Role

As a Remote Radiologist at Apex Imaging Solutions, you will interpret a diverse case mix—including plain film, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional studies—using our secure, HIPAA‑compliant PACS. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of subspecialty radiologists, technologists, and clinical liaisons to ensure turnaround times meet or exceed client SLAs. This position offers full autonomy over your workload, with the option to specialize in neuro, musculoskeletal, body, or breast imaging based on your expertise and interest.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high‑quality diagnostic reports for a national network of healthcare facilities.
• Participate in peer‑review sessions and quality assurance programs to maintain accreditation standards.
• Communicate critical findings directly to referring physicians via secure messaging and phone consults.
• Maintain active licensure in all states where studies are read; the company covers licensing fees and maintenance.
• Contribute to protocol development and AI‑assisted workflow optimization projects.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited diagnostic radiology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in a minimum of 10 states (company assists with expansion).

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years post‑residency clinical experience in a high‑volume practice.
• Proficiency with major PACS/RIS platforms (e.g., Sectra, Carestream, GE Centricity).
• Strong command of structured reporting templates (RSNA, ACR).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Comfort with AI‑triage tools and willingness to evaluate emerging algorithms.

Technical Setup

• Dedicated, HIPAA‑secure home office with dual‑monitor diagnostic‑grade displays (≥ 5 MP).

Salary Range
