Join a forward‑thinking fintech team where your quantitative expertise shapes next‑generation trading strategies and risk models. Work fully remote from anywhere, collaborating with world‑class data scientists and engineers to turn complex data into actionable insights.
About the Role
As a Quantitative Researcher, you will design, test, and implement statistical and machine‑learning models that power our trading and risk‑management platforms. You’ll partner closely with engineering to move research prototypes into production, ensuring robustness, scalability, and real‑time performance. This role offers the freedom to explore innovative approaches while delivering measurable impact on portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate predictive models using time‑series analysis, stochastic calculus, and advanced ML techniques.
- Conduct rigorous back‑testing, sensitivity analysis, and performance attribution to assess model efficacy.
- Translate research findings into production‑ready code (Python, C++, or Julia) alongside software engineers.
- Monitor model performance in live environments, initiating timely recalibrations or retirements.
- Stay abreast of academic literature and industry trends, integrating novel methodologies into the research pipeline.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and senior leadership.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience building statistical or machine‑learning models for finance, trading, or risk management.
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and familiarity with C++/Julia for performance‑critical tasks.
- Strong grasp of stochastic processes, time‑series econometrics, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Experience with back‑testing frameworks, factor modeling, and portfolio construction.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Effective communication skills; comfortable presenting technical results to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
What We Offer
