About the Role

As a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans — all from a fully virtual setup. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic interviews via telehealth platforms
• Develop, implement, and adjust medication management plans
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy sessions
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and refer patients to specialists when necessary

Operational Duties

• Maintain compliance with federal and state telehealth regulations and prescribing laws
• Participate in weekly virtual case conferences and continuing education sessions
• Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and quality assurance standards

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) through the ANCC or equivalent accrediting body
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with prescriptive authority in at least one U.S. state
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing
• Proficiency with telehealth technology, EHR systems, and virtual patient engagement tools
