Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic interviews via secure HIPAA-compliant video platforms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust medications and therapies based on clinical response and safety profiles.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing acute psychiatric distress.

Administrative & Collaborative Duties

• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated treatment.
• Participate in weekly virtual peer-review sessions to discuss complex cases and maintain clinical standards.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in psychopharmacology and psychiatric nursing.

Requirements

Qualifications & Certifications

• Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Texas.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric care; telehealth experience is a significant plus.
