Salary Range

$110,000 – $140,000 USD/year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional performance-based bonuses available.

About the Role

As a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This fully remote position allows you to serve patients nationwide, utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver high-quality psychiatric care. You will work with diverse populations, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD, while maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health disorders
• Prescribe and manage medications for psychiatric conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records
• Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Provide patient education on mental health management and wellness strategies

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program. Active RN license and national certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) are mandatory. Minimum of two years of experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing is preferred. Strong communication skills, empathy, and proficiency with telehealth technologies are essential.

Qualifications

• Current PMHNP-BC certification through AANP or ANCC
• Valid RN license in your state of residence
• Experience with electronic health record systems and telemedicine platforms
