About the Role

We are seeking a board‑certified Physician to provide virtual primary and urgent care consultations to patients across Texas. This 100 % remote position lets you practice medicine from your home office while leveraging a robust electronic health record (EHR) platform, integrated e‑prescribing, and real‑time specialist referral pathways. You will manage a diverse patient panel, conduct video visits, order diagnostics, and coordinate follow‑up care—all within a flexible schedule that you help design.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive telehealth visits for acute, chronic, and preventive health concerns.
• Diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications using evidence‑based guidelines.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics through partnered networks.
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR within 24 hours of each visit.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, and pharmacists to ensure continuity.
• Participate in weekly peer‑review sessions and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain active Texas medical licensure and DEA registration.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Unrestricted Texas medical license and current DEA certificate.

Clinical Experience

• Minimum 3 years of post‑residency clinical practice, with at least 1 year in telemedicine or virtual care preferred.
• Proficiency with major EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth).
• Strong clinical judgment for remote assessment and decision‑making.

Technical & Communication Skills

• Reliable high‑speed internet, HIPAA‑compliant workspace, and webcam/microphone setup.
