About the Role

As a Remote Physician, you will conduct virtual consultations, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions using secure video, phone, and messaging platforms. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, mental‑health specialists, and care coordinators to ensure seamless, patient‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive telehealth assessments, document clinical findings, and create evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications electronically in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Order and review lab tests, imaging, and specialist referrals as needed.
• Educate patients on disease management, preventive health, and medication adherence.
• Participate in weekly case reviews and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of telemedicine best practices, HIPAA compliance, and evolving clinical guidelines.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (additional state licenses are a plus).
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or a relevant specialty.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (residency completed).
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality care via video or phone platforms.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a patient‑first mindset.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download) and a private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems; experience with telehealth platforms such as Teladoc, Amwell, or MDLive is preferred.
