  • Document each encounter in the electronic health record with precise coding, clear problem lists, and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Order, review, and act on laboratory results, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests, coordinating follow‑up as needed.
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances where authorized, and provide detailed medication reconciliation and patient education.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and peer‑to‑peer feedback sessions to enhance clinical excellence.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and emerging medical literature.
  • Contribute to patient education materials and community outreach programs aimed at promoting preventive health and wellness.

  • Board certification in a recognized specialty such as Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Valid DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Clinical Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of two years of post‑residency clinical experience; prior telehealth or virtual care experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) and video conferencing platforms tailored for healthcare.
  • Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual setting.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities, coupled with a commitment to evidence‑based practice.
  • Self‑directed, organized, and comfortable managing a remote workload while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
  • Ongoing commitment to continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
