About the Role

As a Remote Physical Therapist at CareFirst Virtual Health, you’ll play a pivotal role in our telehealth division, providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients across the nation. You’ll conduct virtual assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide patients through therapeutic exercises using cutting-edge video conferencing technology. What You’ll Do

• Conduct initial patient evaluations via secure video platforms, assessing mobility, strength, and functional limitations
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition and goals
• Provide real-time therapeutic guidance and exercise instruction during live virtual sessions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed
• Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record system
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Current, valid Physical Therapist license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings
• Experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable
• Strong computer skills and comfort with various digital communication tools
• Excellent verbal communication skills for virtual patient interactions

Salary Range

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and licensure status. Additional performance-based bonuses may increase overall compensation. This is a full-time position with benefits.
