About the Role

As a Remote Paralegal, you will be the backbone of our legal team, managing 20–30 active files, coordinating with attorneys across multiple time zones, and ensuring every case moves efficiently toward resolution. This is not a clerical role—you will draft substantive pleadings, manage complex discovery, and actively participate in trial preparation.
Core Responsibilities
- Drafting & Filing: Prepare legal documents including motions, subpoenas, briefs, and discovery responses. E-file in state and federal courts using PACER, ECF, and state-specific portals (e.g., Odyssey, WebCivil).
- Discovery Management: Oversee document productions, privilege logs, and deposition summaries. Coordinate with electronic discovery vendors.
- Case Coordination: Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and schedule depositions, mediations, and hearings. Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel via phone and email.
- Trial Support: Assist in trial preparation including witness binders, exhibit lists, and technology setup for virtual or in-person proceedings.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required.
