Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Documentation

  • Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.

  • Maintaining organized digital case files to ensure all deadlines are tracked and met via a centralized calendar.

Research & Analysis

  • Performing comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar databases to support litigation strategies.
  • Summarizing deposition transcripts and medical records to provide concise briefs for lead attorneys.
  • Analyzing case law and statutes to identify precedents that strengthen our clients’ positions.

Client & Vendor Relations

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates on case status and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Coordinating with expert witnesses, court reporters, and opposing counsel to schedule depositions and hearings.
  • Ensuring all client intake processes are handled with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • A valid Paralegal Certification (ABA-approved) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a law firm environment, preferably in civil litigation or corporate law.
