About the Role

As a Remote Operations Research Analyst, you will be the backbone of our data-driven decision-making process. • Analyze large datasets using programming languages (Python, R) and statistical software to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Communicate complex analytical results and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate model performance and refine approaches based on new data and feedback.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and/or R programming.
  • Experience with optimization libraries (e.g., PuLP, Gurobi, CPLEX) and simulation tools (e.g., AnyLogic, SimPy).
  • Strong statistical analysis skills, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex findings effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of machine learning principles and applications in operational contexts.
  • Experience with SQL and database management systems.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional – CAP, Certified Operations Research Analyst – CORA).
