About the Role

As a Remote Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct comprehensive telehealth visits, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators. Key Responsibilities

• Perform virtual assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with Colorado state regulations and DEA guidelines.
• Document encounters thoroughly in the EHR, ensuring coding accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide patient education, health coaching, and follow‑up care coordination.
• Participate in weekly case conferences, peer reviews, and continuing education sessions.
• Maintain active, unrestricted Colorado NP licensure and national certification.

Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado.
• National certification (AANP or ANCC) in Family, Adult‑Gerontology, or Psychiatric‑Mental Health.
• DEA registration with prescriptive authority for Schedule II‑V substances.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical NP experience; telehealth experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with major EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) and video‑conferencing tools.
• Strong clinical decision‑making, communication, and documentation skills.

Salary Range
