About the Role

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to democratize access to quality mental health care. You’ll work with a diverse client base, providing individual therapy sessions via our secure video platform.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct 25-30 individual therapy sessions per week via secure telehealth platforms
• Assess, diagnose, and treat clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation in our electronic health record system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
• Participate in weekly case consultation meetings and ongoing professional development
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and integrate new therapeutic techniques into your work

Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field
• Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapy to adults
• Board certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) is a plus

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health record systems
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills using DSM-5 criteria
• Experience with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining connection with a collaborative team
• Strong time management and organizational abilities

Salary Range

The estimated annual compensation for this position ranges from $58,000 to $78,000 USD, depending on experience, licensure type, and session volume. Top-performing counselors have the potential to earn significantly more through our performance-based incentive program.
