About the Role

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will provide high‑quality, confidential counseling services through a secure video‑conferencing platform. You’ll work with a diverse caseload that includes anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life‑transition challenges. What You’ll Do

Provide Telehealth Counseling

Conduct 45‑ to 60‑minute individual sessions via HIPAA‑compliant video, phone, or chat modalities. Apply modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or person‑centered therapy based on client needs and your clinical expertise.

Develop Individualized Treatment Plans

Collaborate with clients to create measurable goals, track progress using standardized outcome measures, and adjust interventions in real time. Document all sessions thoroughly in the electronic health record within 24 hours.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team

Participate in weekly case‑consultation meetings, coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and community resources, and contribute to peer‑review quality‑improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Licensure

Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology. Current, unrestricted state licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in at least one U.S. state; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

Experience

Minimum two years post‑licensure direct clinical experience, with at least one year delivering telehealth services. Demonstrated competence in treating adults and adolescents across a range of presenting concerns.

Technical Proficiency

Comfortable navigating EHR systems, secure video platforms, and digital scheduling tools. Reliable high‑speed internet, a private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace, and a professional‑grade webcam and headset.

Salary Range

$55,000 – $78,000 USD per year (commensurate with experience, licensure level, and caseload volume).
