Remote Mental Health Counselor – Nationwide (Change Lives from Your Home Office)

About the Role & Our Mission

Harmony Wellness Collective is on a mission to dismantle barriers to mental health support. We operate a 100% remote clinical practice, leveraging technology to connect diverse clients with specialized, empathetic therapists. In this role, you will manage a caseload of individuals, couples, or adolescents (based on your specialty) dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your day will consist of scheduled telehealth sessions, thorough clinical documentation, and collaborative case consultations with our senior clinical team. We provide the administrative infrastructure, cutting-edge tech platform, and a steady stream of referrals—you provide the healing expertise and clinical excellence.

What You’ll Do Daily:

• Conduct 30-50 minute telehealth therapy sessions via our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform (SimplePractice).
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.).
• Complete timely, detailed clinical notes and treatment updates within 48 hours of each session.
• Participate in weekly 1:1 clinical supervision (for early-career clinicians) and bi-weekly team case consultations.
• Maintain strict compliance with all state licensing regulations and ethical guidelines (ACA, NASW, etc.).
• Collaborate with our intake team to ensure smooth client onboarding and transitions of care.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$55,000 – $85,000 USD/Year
Compensation is commensurate with experience, license type (LPC, LMFT, LCSW), and clinical specialty. The range reflects a full-time caseload of approximately 25-30 client sessions per week. Part-time options are available and prorated.

Requirements & Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated, licensed professional ready to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Mandatory Credentials:

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license to practice in at least one U.S. state (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent). Must be able to obtain additional state licenses as we expand; we reimburse for application fees.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct therapy.
• Master’s degree (M.S., M.A., M.Ed.) in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Proven experience with teletherapy and proficiency with digital health platforms.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet/private home workspace, and a computer that meets our security specs.

Preferred Experience & Attributes:

• Experience with specific modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, SFBT, or trauma-informed care.
• Previous work with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC communities, or multicultural clients.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and an ability to manage electronic health records meticulously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a genuine, non-judgmental therapeutic presence.
• Self-motivated and comfortable with a high degree of autonomy, while also being a collaborative team player.
