About the Role
As a Mental Health Counselor at Sunrise Behavioral Health, you will help adults and adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and other emotional challenges. Primary Responsibilities

- Use evidence-based approaches to help clients identify goals, build coping skills, and achieve measurable progress.
- Conduct virtual intake assessments, risk evaluations, and ongoing clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with licensed supervisors, psychiatrists, and care coordinators to deliver coordinated treatment.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliant records in accordance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Hold a current state license as an LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent mental health professional.
- Have at least one year of experience providing individual counseling services.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, empathy, and professional communication skills.
- Be comfortable using electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and virtual care technology.
- Adhere to HIPAA, state regulations, ethical guidelines, and company clinical policies.
- Manage a consistent caseload while working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this remote Mental Health Counselor position is $52,000–$72,000 USD per year, depending on license type, experience, geographic market, and assigned caseload. Performance incentives and benefits may also be available.
