About the Role

As a Remote Medical Assistant at HealthBridge, you will collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and care coordinators to deliver seamless telehealth experiences. Your day‑to‑day activities blend clinical tasks—such as vital‑sign review and medication reconciliation—with administrative duties like scheduling, documentation, and patient education. What You’ll Do

Clinical Support

Review patient‑submitted vitals, update medication lists, and flag any clinical concerns for the provider before each virtual visit. Assist with pre‑visit questionnaires and ensure all required forms are completed in the EMR.

Patient Communication

Serve as the first point of contact for patients via secure messaging, phone, or video. Provide clear instructions for device setup, answer basic health questions, and triage urgent issues according to established protocols.

Documentation & Compliance

Accurately document encounter notes, update problem lists, and code visits using ICD‑10/CPT guidelines. Maintain HIPAA‑compliant workflows and participate in regular quality‑audit sessions.

Requirements

Education & Certification

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program (certificate, diploma, or associate degree). Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is required.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of clinical medical assisting experience, preferably in a primary‑care, urgent‑care, or telehealth setting. Familiarity with remote patient monitoring devices is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with major EMR platforms (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks). Comfortable navigating video‑conferencing tools, secure messaging apps, and basic troubleshooting of patient‑side hardware.

Salary Range

$42,000 – $58,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience, certifications, and geographic differential.
