Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical history prior to appointments.

• Coordinate patient referrals, diagnostic orders, and follow-up care plans.
• Manage appointment schedules, send reminders, and handle cancellations or rescheduling.
• Prepare charts and materials for telehealth visits to ensure providers are fully prepared.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) from an accredited program.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong understanding of clinical protocols and patient care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a remote setting.
