About the Role

As our Remote Medical and Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of medical and health services within designated facilities or programs. You’ll lead a team of professionals, develop and implement operational strategies, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (including HIPAA), manage budgets, and analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency and enhanced patient care. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate operational plans and policies for medical services.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, administrators, support staff).
• Ensure all services comply with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, physicians, and other departments to enhance patient care coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed.

Requirements

Successful candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare management, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and operations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing operational strategies within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements (especially HIPAA), and quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., EHR systems, financial management software).
• Current state nursing license or relevant healthcare administration certification (e.g., CAHME, ACHE).
