About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine mechanical components, assemblies, and prototypes for various industrial applications
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate design integrity and performance
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective
• Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering documents
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality
• Maintain design documentation and adherence to company standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or similar)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Minimum 2-4 years of professional mechanical design experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and appropriate home office setup

Salary Range & Compensation
