Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for injection molding, CNC machining, and assembly.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure all components meet strict quality standards.
• Iterate on designs based on prototyping results and testing feedback.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all engineering changes and design specifications.

Salary Range

$75,000 – $115,000 USD / year (Commensurate with experience and technical expertise)

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Proven experience with material selection, including plastics, metals, and advanced composites.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.

• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Fluency in digital collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Jira.
