About the Role

As a Remote Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for a range of consumer electronics and industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.

• Coordinate with suppliers and external vendors to ensure parts meet tolerances and material specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in consumer electronics or industrial hardware.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or comparable CAD suites; additional knowledge of Creo or CATIA is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal), and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with GD&T and ISO standards for mechanical drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts clearly.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects in a remote setting.
