About the Role

As a Remote Mechanical Designer at TechNova Solutions, you will be instrumental in the end‑to‑end design of cutting‑edge wearable devices. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2‑D drawings using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA.
• Perform tolerance analysis, stress simulations, and manufacturability reviews to ensure designs are robust and cost‑effective.
• Lead material selection and surface finish decisions, balancing durability, aesthetics, and supply‑chain constraints.
• Prepare BOMs, packaging drawings, and assembly instructions for manufacturing partners worldwide.
• Participate in rapid prototyping sessions, iterating designs based on user feedback and test results.
• Document design changes and maintain version control in a cloud‑based repository (e.g., SharePoint, Box).
• Collaborate with the quality team to develop inspection plans and support factory audits.

Requirements
