About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to lead the development of innovative mechanical systems for our flagship product line. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and manufacturers across multiple time zones, turning conceptual sketches into precise, manufacturable designs. Your expertise in CAD software and design for manufacturability will directly impact product performance, cost efficiency, and time‑to‑market.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD tools.

• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to validate design integrity.

• Optimize designs for cost reduction, material efficiency, and ease of assembly while maintaining functional requirements.

• Liaise with cross‑functional teams to iterate designs based on prototype feedback and manufacturing constraints.

• Document design specifications, GD&T standards, and release documentation for production.

Requirements

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Engineer with a strong portfolio of remote‑delivered projects.

• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD platforms; ability to generate production‑ready drawings.

• Strong analytical skills, including FEA, CFD, and tolerance analysis.
