About the Role

As a Remote Mechanical Designer, you’ll be the linchpin between conceptual ideas and tangible prototypes. You’ll translate client requirements and performance specifications into detailed 3‑D models, drawings, and engineering documentation. • Create comprehensive engineering drawings, bill of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Perform design reviews, feasibility studies, and risk assessments using FEA and CFD tools.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to validate designs and resolve production issues.
• Document design changes, maintain version control, and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).
• Mentor junior designers and share best practices to elevate the team’s technical competency.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience in a professional engineering environment.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.
• Experience with simulationോള (FEA, CFD) and tolerancing concepts is a plus.
