Join a fast-growing property management leader as a Remote Maintenance Coordinator. Manage vendor networks, optimize facility workflows, and ensure top-tier property standards from the comfort of your own home in Texas.

About the Role

Are you a maintenance expert who is tired of the physical grind and ready to transition your technical knowledge into a strategic, high-impact remote role? We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to act as the central hub for our property operations. In this position, you won’t be swinging the hammer; instead, you will be the “brain” behind the operation, coordinating repairs, managing contractor schedules, and ensuring every maintenance request is handled with precision and speed.

As a Remote Maintenance Coordinator, you will leverage your deep understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry to vet quotes, troubleshoot issues over the phone with tenants, and manage a diverse portfolio of properties. This is the perfect role for a seasoned maintenance professional looking to move into a corporate, remote environment where your expertise is valued and your work-life balance is prioritized.

Salary Range

$52,000 – $78,000 USD per year (Depending on experience and certifications)

Your Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Contractor Management

You will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and managing a network of reliable third-party contractors. You will negotiate contracts, verify insurance compliance, and ensure that all work performed meets our strict quality standards.

Operational Coordination

You will oversee the entire maintenance lifecycle—from the moment a tenant submits a ticket to the final inspection. This includes prioritizing urgent repairs, scheduling appointments, and maintaining digital logs of all property improvements.

Technical Troubleshooting

Using your technical background, you will conduct “virtual triage.” By guiding tenants through basic troubleshooting steps, you will reduce unnecessary service calls and save the company thousands in avoidable dispatch fees.

Budgeting & Procurement

You will track maintenance spending, manage parts procurement for large-scale projects, and provide monthly reports on facility health to the executive team.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a related trade.
  • Location: Must be a current resident of Texas to comply with state-specific regulatory and zoning knowledge.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with property management software (such as AppFolio or Yardi) and a strong command of Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively mediate between tenants and contractors.
  • Organization: A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without letting a single detail slip through the cracks.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required; professional certifications (HVAC, EPA, or CPM) are a significant advantage.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

100% Remote Flexibility

Forget the commute. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage your workday from your home office. We believe in results, not clock-watching.

Comprehensive Benefits

We offer a competitive health, dental, and vision package, along with a generous 401(k) matching program to help you secure your financial future.

Professional Growth

We don’t just offer a job; we offer a career path. You will have access to ongoing professional development and certifications to help you move into senior operations management.

Modern Equipment

To ensure your success, we provide a full home-office setup, including a high-end laptop, dual monitors, and a monthly stipend for high-speed internet.

What Sets You Apart

The ideal candidate is someone who speaks the “language” of a technician but possesses the organizational skills of a project manager. If you can tell the difference between a simple leak and a catastrophic pipe failure just by listening to a tenant’s description, you are exactly who we are looking for.
