Are you a seasoned Heavy and Tractor-Trailer expert looking to trade the long hauls for a home-based career? Leverage your deep industry knowledge to manage fleet operations and driver logistics in this 100% remote role designed for Texas-based transportation professionals.

About the Role

At SwiftPath Logistics, we are redefining how freight moves by bridging the gap between the road and the office. We are seeking a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver expert to transition into a Remote Logistics Coordinator position. This isn’t a driving job—it’s a strategic role where you use your years of experience behind the wheel to optimize routes, ensure safety compliance, and mentor our current fleet of drivers from the comfort of your own home.

You know the challenges of the open road, the nuances of Hours of Service (HOS), and the technical specifications of heavy-duty rigs. We need that expertise to help our operations team make smarter, safer, and more efficient decisions. If you are tired of the sleeper cab but love the trucking industry, this is your perfect exit strategy into a corporate remote environment.

Salary Range

$65,000 – $85,000 USD/year (Depending on experience and certifications)

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Optimization & Route Planning

Utilize your knowledge of tractor-trailer maneuvers and weight restrictions to plan the most efficient routes for our drivers, reducing fuel costs and avoiding logistical bottlenecks.

Driver Mentorship & Support

Act as the primary point of contact for drivers on the road. Provide real-time troubleshooting for mechanical issues and guidance on navigating difficult deliveries, ensuring our drivers feel supported and safe.

Compliance & Safety Oversight

Monitor Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) to ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations. Conduct remote safety audits and ensure all heavy-duty equipment is maintained according to industry standards.

Vendor & Dispatch Coordination

Coordinate with warehouses and shipping hubs to streamline the loading and unloading process, minimizing dwell time and maximizing the productivity of our tractor-trailer fleet.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver with a valid CDL-A (Commercial Driver’s License).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCSA regulations, weight limits, and heavy-haul logistics.
  • Remote Readiness: A dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet and a professional environment for video conferencing.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both corporate executives and drivers on the road.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with GPS tracking software, ELD systems, and basic project management tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
  • Residency: Must be a legal resident of Texas to meet state-specific payroll and regulatory requirements.
