Are you a seasoned trucking professional ready to trade the long road for a home office? We are seeking a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer expert to transition into a remote operational role, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to optimize fleet movements and driver safety from the comfort of your home in Texas.

Salary Range

$65,000 – $95,000 USD per year (Depending on experience and certifications)

About the Role

Most trucking roles keep you behind the wheel for weeks at a time. This is different. We are looking for a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver veteran to step into a Remote Logistics and Fleet Coordination role. You won’t be hauling freight; instead, you will be the “brains” behind the operation, ensuring our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles operates at peak efficiency.

In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for active drivers, utilizing your first-hand experience to troubleshoot route delays, manage load distribution, and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You know exactly what a driver faces on the road—and that is exactly why we need you in our remote command center.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Optimization & Routing

You will use advanced logistics software to plan the most efficient routes for our tractor-trailer fleet, minimizing deadhead miles and maximizing fuel efficiency. Your experience with heavy loads will allow you to anticipate road challenges that a standard dispatcher might miss.

Compliance & Safety Oversight

Monitor Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) to ensure all drivers are adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. You will conduct remote safety audits and provide guidance to drivers on how to navigate complex loading docks and hazardous weather conditions safely.

Driver Mentorship

Serve as the expert voice on the radio. You will coach newer drivers on the nuances of handling heavy tractor-trailers, offering practical advice on gear shifting, braking distances, and load securing.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a Commercial Driver (CDL Class A) operating Heavy and Tractor-Trailer vehicles.
  • Location: Must be a legal resident of Texas to qualify for this remote position.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ELD software, GPS tracking systems, and basic Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams).
  • Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and authoritatively with drivers and warehouse managers via phone and digital channels.
  • Home Setup: A dedicated, quiet workspace with high-speed internet access.

Benefits of Going Remote

Work-Life Balance

Stop living out of a sleeper cab. Enjoy the ability to be with your family every single night while still earning a competitive industry salary.

Professional Growth

Transition your physical skills into management skills. This role provides a bridge from the driver’s seat to corporate logistics management, opening doors for future executive roles in supply chain operations.

Comprehensive Support

We provide a full remote-work stipend, including a high-end laptop, ergonomic office chair, and monthly internet reimbursement to ensure your home office is top-tier.

Why Join Our Team?

We believe that the best people to manage trucks are the people who have actually driven them. We are moving away from traditional corporate dispatching and moving toward a driver-centric model. By joining us, you are helping to build a more empathetic, efficient, and safer trucking industry from your own living room.
