About the Role

As a Light Truck Driver with our company, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods and materials within designated regional areas using light-duty trucks and cargo vehicles. Your primary duties will include safely operating company vehicles to deliver products to various destinations, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring all cargo arrives in perfect condition. You’ll work closely with our dispatch team and warehouse staff to coordinate efficient delivery routes and schedules.

This role requires you to be self-sufficient and organized, as you’ll be managing your delivery schedule with periodic check-ins via our digital communication platform. You’ll conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of your delivery vehicle. Customer service skills are essential, as you’ll often interact directly with clients during delivery and pickup operations.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably with light trucks or delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Reliable smartphone or tablet device for communication and navigation purposes
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Salary Range

$42,000 – $58,000 USD per year
