About the Role

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and security of our organization’s information systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events and analyze logs to detect potential threats and breaches
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and disaster recovery plans
• Create security policies, standards, and best practices documentation
• Perform security audits and compliance assessments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Provide security awareness training to employees across the organization
• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices
• Coordinate with external security vendors and third-party auditors

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles combined with hands-on technical expertise.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in information security analysis or related cybersecurity roles
• Proficiency with security tools including SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
• Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security architectures
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM preferred
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security

Salary Range

$85,000 – $125,000 USD/year
