About the Role

As a Remote Information Security Analyst, you will be the frontline defender of our digital assets. Working fully remote, you’ll partner with engineers, product managers, and compliance officers to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across multiple cloud environments. Your daily mission is to ensure that our systems remain resilient against evolving threats while supporting rapid product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools, triage alerts, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis on web applications, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks; lead investigations from detection through remediation.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Produce clear, actionable security reports for leadership and external auditors.
• Stay current with the latest threat intelligence, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in information security, preferably in a SaaS or cloud‑first environment.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or QRadar) and endpoint detection tools.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and common attack vectors (phishing, ransomware, OWASP Top 10).
