Key Responsibilities

Salary Range

$95,000 – $145,000 USD per year (Commensurate with experience and technical expertise)

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who combines technical mastery with a disciplined, self-starting mindset. Because this is a fully remote role, exceptional communication skills and time management are non-negotiable.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a security operations center (SOC) or a similar information security role.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or ELK Stack).
• Proven experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.

Certifications & Soft Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are a significant advantage.
