About the Role

As an Information Security Analyst at CyberShield Technologies, you’ll be at the forefront of our defense strategy, working alongside a team of dedicated security professionals to protect millions of users worldwide. This is a fully remote position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home office while contributing to meaningful cybersecurity initiatives that shape the digital landscape.

What You’ll Do

Threat Monitoring & Response

You’ll monitor our security systems around the clock, analyzing alerts and responding to potential security incidents with speed and precision. Your keen eye for detail will help identify suspicious patterns before they become major breaches.

Vulnerability Management

Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across our infrastructure. You’ll document findings, prioritize risks, and work with development teams to implement effective remediation strategies.

Security Architecture

Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement robust security frameworks. You’ll ensure our systems meet industry compliance standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR requirements.

Incident Response

Lead or support incident response efforts during security breaches. You’ll conduct forensic analysis, contain threats, and develop post-incident reports to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field
• Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Certifications (Preferred)

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Salary Range

$85,000 – $120,000 USD/year
