About the Role

As an Information Security Analyst, you will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across our enterprise network. You will collaborate with IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure that security controls are effective, up‑to‑date, and aligned with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Conduct thorough investigations of potential security breaches and document findings.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks and runbooks.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with system owners.
• Help maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS) through regular audits and reporting.
• Stay current on emerging threats, threat intelligence feeds, and security best practices.
• Support security awareness training initiatives for employees.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Elastic) and log analysis.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Basic scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, CVE) and patch management processes.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a security operations center (SOC) or similar analyst role.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or CISSP are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
