About the Role

As a Remote Information Security Analyst, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You’ll monitor security events, investigate incidents, and collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to fortify systems. Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor SIEM dashboards and respond to alerts in real time.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of security incidents and produce detailed post‑mortem reports.
• Implement threat hunting strategies using advanced analytics and threat intelligence feeds.
• Assist in the design and deployment of security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors to evaluate and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Participate in quarterly penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field
• Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic SIEM
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Experience with cloud security controls (AWS IAM, Azure AD, GCP Cloud IAM)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis

Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred
• CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GCIH are strong pluses
