About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, endpoints, and cloud environments for anomalous activity.
• Investigate security alerts, perform root‑cause analysis, and document findings.
• Execute incident response playbooks and coordinate with engineering teams for remediation.
• Develop and maintain security baselines, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with emerging threats, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a security operations or incident response role.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel) and EDR solutions.
• Proficiency with networking protocols, TCP/IP, and Linux/Windows systems.
• Certified designations such as CISSP, GIAC GSE, or Security+ are highly preferred.
