Remote Information Security Analyst – Join a Global Cybersecurity Leader

About the Role

In this position, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across our cloud and on‑premise infrastructures. Your analyses will guide risk mitigation strategies, support incident response efforts, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will report directly to the Head of Cybersecurity and contribute to a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before they can be exploited. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Monitor security event logs, respond to alerts, and lead investigations to contain and remediate incidents. Provide expert guidance to development teams on secure coding practices and architecture reviews. Prepare detailed reports and metrics for senior leadership, highlighting risk posture and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by at least three years of hands‑on experience in information security. Proficiency with security tools including SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint detection solutions. Strong understanding of network protocols, identity and access management, and encryption technologies. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations. Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued. Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code security practices. Background in threat intelligence gathering and malware analysis. Proven track record of leading security awareness programs and training sessions for staff at all levels.
