Salary Range

$65,000 – $95,000 USD/year (plus competitive benefits package)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our remote team. In this critical position, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while implementing best practices to protect our organization’s digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate responses to mitigate threats
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
• Stay current with emerging threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in information security with a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation. You should be comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in information security or related IT security role
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.) and security monitoring
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and AWS/Azure security services
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
