Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty tractor-trailers and various types of freight trailers across long distances.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
• Manage electronic logging devices (ELD) to maintain accurate records of driving hours and rest periods.
• Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet strict delivery windows.
• Secure all cargo using appropriate tie-downs, straps, or bracing to prevent shifting during transit.
• Maintain a clean and professional driving record while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.

Salary Range

$65,000 – $95,000 USD per year (Based on experience, mileage, and bonus structures).

Requirements

To excel in this role and maintain our high standards of safety and reliability, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Must possess a Class A CDL with a clean driving history.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy tractor-trailers in long-haul environments.
• Endorsements: Tanker or Hazmat endorsements are highly preferred and may lead to higher pay tiers.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to manage long hours of driving and assist with occasional loading/unloading tasks if required.
